So from that extract we can see that when Obama kills civilians in drone attacks the left says nothing but when Trump kills someone organising terrorist attacks the left become outraged.

The man was in a convoy driving from Bagdahd airport. He wasnt hiding or anything. And they just blew him up.
It's like blowing up the head of the CIA or the current top US general.
In terms of normal "convention" it's absolutely outrageous behaviour by the USA. However, it's not really unprecendented. Regean killed Gadaffi's daughter didnt he? Bombed his house. The USA does what it wants. Always has been the case.
The real danger for the USA is not an out and out war with Iran. The problem is now that every US government worker, General, Politician etc.. is pretty much fair game now in the eyes of Iran. And they US are fucking everywhere. They have bases, interests and operations all over the world.
And for every seemingly unconnected murder the USA are going to have to deal with, Trump can only respond in a military fashion. And it's just going to look mad.
I feel the only real way out of this escalation will be actually negotiating the sanctions situation with Iran and basically backing down from the whole thing.
It's just all really unnecessary and according to the "rules' of diplomacy, absolutely out of order.
(btw, I have no feeling on the guys death, they are all warmongers and killers out there on both sides, I don't care for any of it.)
